Poké-Proff. Johann

Hello! Let me start off by saying welcome to AVPN! My name is Prof. Johann, and I couldn’t be more excited to share my enjoyment for Pokemon with all of you, along with my esteemed colleagues. I’ve been a fan of the franchise for as long as I can remember. I consider myself as an expert in videogame knowledge, a highly experienced trading card game strategist, and a mild enjoyer of the show and movies.

 

From a young age, I’ve experienced the videogames in one of the best ways possible: chronologically, by release. My first game ever was Silver Version, and I experienced each generation as they released, all the way up to Scarlet and Violet (the newest installments as of writing this). During my journey through the games, I also picked up the original Red Version and got to experience it as a teen. With more than two decades of enjoying the games, I can confidently say that there is little I do not know about each entry.

 

Admittedly, when it comes to the card game, I only really started playing and collecting it as a teenager. I started my tcg journey with Magic the Gathering, and much of my strategic deck building and gameplay stems from that background. The Pokemon TCG is definitely a top-tier card game, and I still enjoy helping others optimize their decks and strategy, even if I don’t play anymore personally.
